In the early morning of July 9th I spotted a little blue heron on our pond just west of the town of Stouffville. I observed it for 20 minutes through 10X40 binoculars and then we had to leave for a camping vacation: hence the reason for this late report. I made a report to the Ontario Bird Record Committee of the OFO.
