Took a walk through the Charles Sauriol Park and took a few pics of some common birds but they came out ok so I thought I'd share:

Saw a beautiful Winter Robin and got a nice shot of him:


Nice pic of a Cardinal in what I dubbed the Cardinal alley


Female Downy Woodpecker:

I actually think your woodpecker is a Hairy Woodpecker, as the outer tail feathers are entirely white (Downy has black spots).

You may be right.  The reason  I thought she was Downy was because of her longer beak and somewhat larger size.  I saw what I thought was a female Hairy Woodpecker a while back that was considerably smaller and had a shorter beak as well.  

I'll show you a different pic of the above bird.  The long-ish beak lead me to believe it's a Downy:


And here's the pic of what I thought was a Hairy Woodpecker (female).  Notice the shorter beak and somewhat more diminutive size:
