Today I decided to go check out what's happening around the area of the OSC...I know they have a private feeder hooked up to an online cam and I saw Red-Winged Blackbirds on the cam yesterday so I thought I might see if they're in the area.

I didn't see the Blackbirds but I did find 3 feeders behind the OSC by the pond (south side of the pond) and saw a bunch of little birds including both types of Nuthatches, Chickadees, Goldfinches (2 or 3), House Finches (2 or 3), Tree Sparrows, and some Downy/Hairy Woodpeckers.  Also saw at least two Hawks (probably red-tail) circle the area..and land on the antennas on top of the OSC.  Overall a nice site for birding.

Here are some pics:

Female Goldfinch at the feeder:

A rather rotund Dark-Eyed Junco

These feeders are they the ones found by the little hidden pond west of the OSC? the last time  I went to check them out they were empty and in quite a state of disrepair, looking at the pics it kinda appears they are the ones I was looking at. Is one of the feeders located right beside a bench?

That is correct and they should right now be full as they were filled up yesterday when I was there.  Looks like they're maintained regularly and there's lots of bird activity happening there right now.

Thanks but personally I don't like that pic...I mean I wish I had a more powerful lens so I could zoom in better.  I've seen a lot of BoP's that I just can't reel in with my weak camera...oh well.  But that's ok, it was dirt cheap so I deal with what I got.
