Sharp-Shinned Hawk ??

My backyard (urban Bradford) this morning - finally caught this bird with the camera after weeks of trying -- it just let me take a bunch of pics then flew off with it's lunch. It was tricky getting focus because so much snow was falling. Can you please confirm it's a Sharp-Shinned Hawk. And it looks like a Starling was it's lunch - which is interesting because there haven't been any at my feeders for months.

Yes, Sharp-shinned Hawk and Starling. Nice catch (for you and the hawk)

I do feel a bit sorry for the Starling but that's one baddass Hawk.

Thanks everyone - maybe next time I'll be able to catch and in-flight photo (well I can dream can't I !).
