I'll be in Indianapolis briefly for a few days this week and I may be able to get some birding in at the White River State Park.  Is there anything specific I should look for or keep an eye out for?  I'm not looking for ultra rare birds, but just some common ones found in Indiana that wouldn't normally be seen in Ontario.

Maybe there isn't really that much difference from Ontario but I'm still relatively new at birding so was just looking for some advice from the experts.

Thank you for any tips.

Probably not a heck of a lot of difference from Ontario, except much easier to find things that are reaching their northern limits around us, e.g. red-bellied woodpecker, tufted titmouse, Carolina wren.  Indy may be right on the line between black-capped and Carolina chickadee, with the latter probably more common.  This can be a difficult ID - learn song of Carolina to best distinguish.

Do you know how to use ebird to make an abundance chart for a location?  Best to pick reasonably large location like a whole county.
