Yes, we did go out in the rain/wet snow yesterday, with an umbrella, to James Gardens... again.  It's our only day off together, so we had to try.  To our surprise there was still a lot of action.

We're convinced that if anyone want to photograph Hawks, this is the place!  We spotted five in total and we were there for less than an hour... my feet got too wet.

Here are two drenched Red-tails.  Enjoy.

This is how close you can get without bothering them.  It was right next to the feeder.  We took a few shots and left.

That's my wife with her Sigma 150-500mm.  In the photo it's actually pulled back to 150, but the lens hood makes it look longer that it really is.  I tried her lens once on my camera and loved it!  Her shots are typically better than mine. ;) cheers
