Where was he?  I went yesterday at around 4pm but barely saw any ducks, nevermind the Western Grebe.  I could count on 2 hands how many ducks I saw in total.  Am I looking in the wrong places?

When I saw the Western Grebe on Sunday it was at the mouth of the marina, there were also some Coots nearby and the Snowy Owl was on the docks/ice in the marina.

Thanks Reg and Palo.  these last pics were taken on Monday.  We saw the Shrike too, but he was obscured on the bushes and trees.  He did fly down from one of the trees to catch a snack, then flew back up to the trees with it and had a little meal.  It was very exciting to watch thru the binos at least!.

Went today again but no Western Grebe.  Perhaps it has moved on.
