I visited Sam's Sunday morning.

Northern Waterthrush- 2
Yellow-rumped- 25
Winter Wren- 3
Eastern Towhee- 4
Swamp Sparrow- 1
White-throated Sparrow- 40
Chipping Sparrow- 30
Hermit Thrush- 2
Wood Thrush- 1poorly seen, saw 2 very clearly April 19
Creepers- 2
Red-breasted Nuthatch- 2
Flicker- 2
Yellow-bellied Sapsucker- 1
Kinglets- 200, with Ruby-crowned 90% approx.
Many more Barn Swallows(20?) among the Tree Swallows. No Purple Martin seen today.
Just went briefly to water, where no one had seen Western Grebe yet.

I'm envious of your Waterthrushes, I was skulking around the wet woods all day with the feeling it was time for them to make the scene, but no luck.

Where did you see them?

I was also there this morning, didn't have as many good passerines as you had, but I saw the Western Grebe quite a bit out in the bay from the mouth of the marina. Also Purple Martin and Cliff Swallow there. At least 500 Red-necked Grebes and 30 Horned Grebes.

Waterthrush were on the stream in the upper part of the park. The one that is on the same north/south line as Kipling Av. Right at the little bridge that crosses from path to cricket pitch. Later I talked to a group viewing one right at the bottom of that stream, just where it turns into the marshy area.
