When is the best time to hear the above on the Bruce around Millar Lake?  Friends have a property west of Highway 6 in that area, so want to go up a weekend, hoping to hear WPW.  I am thinking mid to late June?  I remember as a kid and I think it may have been the July 1 weekend, visiting St. Margret's church at Cape Chin, a beautiful summer evening, topped off by WPW.  Thanks in advance for any info.

Good birding

I'd say early-mid June would be the best.

Heading up the Bruce near Tobermory to hear the WWP and they were heard last weekend, so hopefully they are still in fine tune and form.  Have not heard one in several years, but have spotted them at Wheatley PP about 3 years ago migrating.

Just wanting to know if there are Piping Plovers nesting at Sauble Beach and they can be seen without disturbing them.  My husband has a really good lens and camera, so we could be abit away from them for possible pics, but the most important is not to disturb them.

Thanks in advance for any info.  Will report back on the weekend.

Heard WPW both Friday and Saturday nite.  They were in the distance, but still great to hear them.  Unfortunately, I asked at Sauble re Piping Plovers, but apparently they were none.   Good weekend overall, several species of warblers, Yellow rumped, B & W, BTG, etc  Bugs were abit bad, but we survived.
