I can't believe how fast these things move when they are flying, very hard to photograph in the air.  I always thought they flew just above the water, I didn't think they actually dove right in.





I am pretty sure we have a Tree Swallow and a Barn Swallow



I think I just saw this guy and his buddy flying home from the pub after work, Momma is not happy!



Very graceful when gliding





I guess this is why they are called Tree Swallows

I wonder if that's a bank swallow just coming in to land on the left side on the last photo?

I think it's a first spring Tree Swallow, the breast band doesn't look distinctive enough for a Bank Swallow.
