I was in the wet woods yeaterday (Tuesday) from 10-1. A beautiful day, but not too birdy. I was lucky enough to run into friends from TOC who helped me finally see the White-Eyed Vireo. It was worth the wait as it came quite close to us and sang its heart out. We also checked the fence line for the Blue Grosbeak, but no luck. A huge Blue Heron flew low over the centre of the woods at around noon.
Otherwise, it was many of the same birds from the weekend: sapsucker, flicker, nuthatch, creeper, r.c.kinglet, thrasher, hermit thrush, pine, yellow-rump, towhee, swamp sparrow, song sparrow, white throated sparrow, chipping sparrow, junco, cowbird.
