We've tried for a couple weeks to ID this one with no luck. Nothing we have seems to even come close.

Brown Thrasher.

The beak is suppose to be more curved, but the angle here doesn't show it well.

We use a shoebox :), and put our best together via Lulu.com and printed off a book for ourselves.

Sometimes, if I have a questionable bird, I print it off, and carry it around. I often run into some very experienced birders in the hotspots who are happy to help out.
