Hi all,

Just wanted to share a couple of photos of this Rose-breasted Grosbeak that visited my backyard today.

I'm sure it's not too exciting to most of you guys, but for me as a relatively new birder this was a first for me, so I enjoyed!!!

Sometimes you need a little help to get the best shot.

Nice shots.......they are not that common everywhere but do see them around in the summer, I have seen 2-3 pairs breeding at River wood in past years

Has anyone seen any around Lynde Creek or Cranberry Marsh?  I am in Oshawa, but my yard is about 7 floors up and the only birds I get up here are pigeons.

These photos were taken in Whitby Shores, basically next to Lynde Creek.
