Where do the shore birds hang out? I have been a few times and haven't seen them yet.

Shorebirds never stay long at Col. Sam so it is very hit and miss, but they could be on any of the rocky beaches or points.

I would agree with Reuven but I am rarely disappointed there. Here are a few of todays birds. The Killdeer on the beach is not apparently related to the family at the Park entrance (whose chicks are seen here)/

Great finds, I have been there a few times looking for shore birds and have not seen, I'm guessing its luck and timing!

Congrats!
