I think someone should talk to Andy about changing the name of this site...a more fitting name would be "Toronto and Southern Ontario Red Necked Grebes"  :D
Not a whole lot going on right now, so they certainly give us something to do during the early dog days of summer.
The Humber Bay Grebes are, in my opinion, the best game in town. You can get pretty low, the background is super nice the lighting at times is near perfect and with 4 young...you can't go wrong.
If you haven't had a chance to get down there, you should go soon. They are getting big real quick.

But it looks like mom has got them trained to pose for all the crazy people on the boardwalk

..and do they ever look gorgeous on the big screen!! We bought a smart TV (so now there are two smart entities in our house - my wife and my tv!) and I have a wireless modem and I was able to get on the internet without too much trouble. Word of warning; it's a real pain to use the tv remote for the keyboard and the mouse so I am about to pick up a wireless keyboard.

Btw, I still haven't seen my first monarch but my hummingbirds are still going strong!

Great shots Meghan.  I especially like the second one.  This family looks strangely familiar!
