I just read an interesting article about egg collectors in Britain and the work that is done to catch them and convict them. What I found particularly fascinating was how obsessive these collectors are and how generally unrepentant they are about gathering eggs from rare and endangered species. I'm curious if similar problems occur in Canada. Does anyone know?

The only reason I'm aware of egg collecting in Britain is because I have the same first and last name as a legendary British egg collecting villain. If you google my name and anything to do with birds you get info about him. That's why I'm so cagey about using my real name in online bird forums!!!
