I saw at least 2 flycatchers in the backyard on Friday (August 9), at least one of which was an olive-sided flycatcher.
I did not see them after Friday.
I wasn't watching at the right time last year, but the year before that (2011) I saw one in the same place on August 10.
Pretty consistent.
Friday was a clear day with a few clouds, some high & some middle, and a bit of a breeze pushing a small cumulus cloud south ie north wind. (There may have been a west-ward component to the wind. I usually need two views to sort the vectors, & I could only get one on Friday.)
