Hey Paul,

Love the shot of the bird but not fond of the 'fake' backdrop.  I find it really takes away from your spectacular photo.  Other than that, the idea of B&W is terrific.

I kind of liked the black & white version.  It didn't jump out at me as a composite, but I guess if I'd really thought about depth of field it might have.

The odd time I'll mix it up a bit but for the most part all nature is the way to show images. Looking forward to fall and winter shooting.
