Hi everyone. I was walking around Lake Wabukayne this morning between 7:30-8:30am and sighted lots of the following:
Blue Jays
Canada Geese (flying by)
Cardinals including 1 very cute little juv.
Chickadees
House Sparrows
Mallards
Mourning Doves
Red-breasted Nuthatches
Robins
It was neat to see there's now a Floating Island at the SW corner of the lake, close to the dock area.
Sad Note: found a dead baby squirrel - this was not a happy ending to an otherwise great nature walk!
Lake Wabukayne: NE corner of Glen Erin Dr./Windwood Dr., behind condo and school.
