Pacific Reef Heron (correction thanks to John and Thouc).
Quite surprised to see one all this way from Africa. Seen reports of one other at another location or could be the same one.

I think that might be a Pacific Reef Heron.  Note the eye and leg colour, and I don't see any reports of a Black Heron as far east as Hong Kong.  I'm not familiar with either species, though.

Thanks John. I am not familiar either but the Pacific Reef is said to have a brown beak. It is confusing...

It is a Pacific Reef Heron, the bill colour is fairly variable from yellowish to dark grey I have seen from online pictures. The Black Heron also has black leg with yellow feet, while Pacific Reef Herons have yellowish legs, like your bird.
