I have visited Tommy Thompson Park for the last several weekends and several times I managed to find my prey.

This Owl was perched on some rebar so I did some retouching in Photoshop.

If thou are interested, all of the Snowy Owl shots I have taken over the last couple of years are on my website.

interesting.
i thought that, due to the tire tracks and the presence of dump trucks during the week, that the Spit would be an anomaly and not have snowies this year. looks like the dumpers are driving through the snowy areas and dumping their stuff near the lighthouse.

There are lots of spots on The Spit where the Snowies hang out that don't have trucks drive through.
