Rough-Legged Hawk??? & Snowy Owl

I am pretty sure the first 2 are of a Rough-Legged Hawk but would appreciate a confirmation or correction please.




Same bird in both photos. First one was tricky with the sun almost directly behind it but there was no opportunity to get to the other side without disturbing the bird. Then it kindly flew over to the second position and set up a vigil for a chance to catch brunch.

You're right about the first bird... it is definitely a roughie. Nice find!
