Today I went for a short walk to my local park, Étienne Brûlé.
Right at the entrance of the park there was a little patch of open water. In the open water was a beaver. As my mom and I were waiting for the beaver to pop back up, a giant raptor flew over, being mobbed by gulls. It was all black with a white head and about twice as long in length compared to the ring-billed gulls. It was crazy to see 2 animals I'm only accustomed to seeing way up north, right by my backyard.

If anyone is wondering, Étienne Brûlé Park is located just north of Bloor Street and West of Jane on the Humber River.
