A woodland walk with friends and chance upon something very unexpected...  a Great Gray Owl!  A pure zen moment away from any roads or crowds; we respected the creature and it's home, and were rewarded with a very peaceful sighting twice that afternoon.

On our way in...

On our way out...

A birth certificate shows we were born.  A death certificate shows we died.  Pictures show we live.

Absolutely Brian!

This is the second Great Gray I've seen in 2 years and both encounters were amazing moments.  The birds weren't in reported locations, which indeed make the memories all the nicer.
