Slowly but surely the Wet Woods is coming back to life! Very little snow and ice left and lots of healthy flooding. Flushed my first American Woodcock along the edge of the "hollow" (sorry Richard). Other recent migrants included two pair of Wood Ducks, one pair of Ring-necked Ducks, one beautiful male Blue-winged Teal, and a handful of Cowbirds. The Wood Ducks were in the flooded areas of the woods, the Teal and the Ring-necks were in the little bay by the Unwin bridge.
