Only two more days until the Festival of Birds begins at Point Pelee and the sightings are plenty. A Red-Necked Grebe was spotted right at the tip as well as Pine Warblers and Yellow-Rumped Warblers. I came across some Blue-Grey Gnatcatchers (lifer for me  :D) on the Delaurier trail as well as a pair of Wood Ducks and SandHill Cranes in the canals. There are many White-Throated Sparrows throughout the park. The Marsh boardwalk is host to many Common Yellowthroats. Northern Mockingbirds are still hanging out behind the visitor center. Brown Thrashers are at the Sleepy Hollow section of the park and the seasonal trail there is visited often by White-Tailed Deer.

Definitely worth a visit this time of year.
