A friend of mine has been trying to convince me to come up there and go birding. Does anyone know of anything interesting that could be seen there at this time of year?

Hey Jay, I was just up there last Sunday. Saw a Red Tail that was it. I do have a coworker though who walks his dog in there every night and he says he see Owls frequently. Lots of Deer also. As much as 50 at a time from what he tells me. Follow the path, when it splits stay to the right. Don't let the "nature trail" sign fool you. At the end at the left corner area is where the trail goes. There's a wood hut down that trail near the end. He's told me he's seen Owls sitting on there sometimes. Good luck

Thanks Mike. I remembered some of that from our conversation at the Spit last weekend but having it in writing will definitely help me now lol.
