I got an update the other day about the little blue Budgie from Howie's backyard last fall and thought I would publicly share her new life since others took interest in this adventure.  To sum it up, Belle is doing amazing.  And she adores her friend, an English Budgie named Gaston.  



Doesn't it make ya go "awwwwwwwwww!"?

Fantastic news, thanks Rob. The 'kids' will be adorable - and something tells me they will probably be blue!? :)

Btw, several weeks after Belle moved to her new home people were still asking me about the outcome of the 'Backyard budgie saga'. I was happy to refer them to your blog, which got rave reviews from all my interested friends.

Yes, she's smaller and indeed the boss of both Gaston and the humans.

I love how she looks up to him here.  And he's got that "you know it baby" look of confidence to him.  He's been a real charmer.  They smooch a lot.
