We spotted this bird at Carden yesterday. The pics are heavily cropped so not the best IQ but I thought I'd share anyway as it is not something you see every day.

Wow! Great find. True albinos are pretty unusual. I've seen lots of leucistic birds, some almost pure white, but I don't think I have ever seen a real (wild) albino.

I submitted photo #2 to OFO and they are calling it Leucistic rather than Albino due to black rather than pink eyes. However when I blow up the RAW image of pic #1 the eye appears pinkish, so I'm not sure what to call it!

I decided to sent a TIFF image of the head only from pic #1 to the OFO for their consideration and the bird has now been accepted as an Albino.
