THanks for the kind comment everyone, and great shots Dinosaur! Unfortunately, these meadowhawks need be caught and further examined with a 10 X or 15X to identify to species. Ruby, Cherry, and White-faced meadowhawks are extremely similiar. With a hand lens, you are looking for subtle differences with the genitalia. I have macro photos that show these difference so I can positively distinguish them apart. Nice shot though. Too bad summer is pretty much over now.
