Observed perched about 40 feet off the street level in a maple tree on Sparkhall Avenue, downtown Toronto, just east of Don River valley, 4:00 p.m. January 23, 2008.

Hi John, are you 100% positive on the ID? As they are a rare sighting in southern Ontario, a Northern Hawk Owl in downtown Toronto would be a very rare find.
