Song Sparrow no. What sparrow? Or maybe it is? No central blotch on the breast.

I agree with Song Sparrow, not all of them have a spot, particularly younger birds.

Thanks Tim and Thomas. I had 2 other Song Sparrows hanging around at the same time and this one looked nothing like them in both pattern and colour. I guess they do vary. I've never seen one without the breast spot.
