A little help would be appreciated with this one, I just can't figure it out. Sorry for the poor photo, but my lens frosted up and I had to go inside. Needless to say the bird was gone by the time I got back. The photo was taken outside the Visitor Ctr in Algonquin PP, if that helps in identifying the bird.
Thanx in advance for any suggestions or comments.

It sure looks like an evening grosbeak. But I can't see the bill clear enough to know for sure. Still based on the colouration it looks like an evening to me.

Hope this helps.

Looks like a Grosbeak to me as well.  Wow already all snowed up there, eh?  Are the roads treacherous?  I was planning on going wednesday but haven't put my snow tires on yet.

Thanks for the help guys, I was leaning towards the Grosbeak but the head colouration didn't seem right.
Rotarran, the main roads are clear with side roads clear to maybe 1-2" of snow covering depending on drifts. I found the walking paths to be mucky and flooded due to recent rains, and the mild temps expected will probably keep them wet.
