Whitby Cattle Egret

Two very unusual things happened to me on November 15th. The sun came out however briefly and I saw and photographed a rare bird for Ontario.

Normally they look more like the pic below.

I have never seen one that is pure white. A juvenile possibly?

It's normal for an adult to be all white at this time of year (non-breeding plumage). A juvenile would have a dark bill.
