Cranberry Marsh

Saw two lifers yesterday. The first had eluded me for a few years, a White-winged Crossbill. At first I thought it was a  Red Crossbill, but after reviewing my pictures I spotted the white wing bars. The wing bars are not shown in the below photo. Cranberry Marsh was quieter than usual, except for chickadees and nuthatches. The second was the Cattle Egret at a golf course just west of Cranberry Marsh.  Winter is here!
