After abit of rain yesterday, while the volume of birds wasnt huge, the number of species in just one tree was great. The one tree seemed to be on of few that isnt fully in leaf. I sat watching the tree for a few hours. In and out of it were several Male and at least one female Rose-breasted Grosbeak, male and female Scarlet Tanager,Baltimore Oriole,Red-eyed Vireo,Yellow/Yellow-rumped/Chestnut-sided/Blackburnian/Cape May/Nashiville/Tennesee and Magnolia Warblers.  Oddly, both Swainsons and Gray-cheeked Thrush were also seen in this tree(usually I see both on the ground around the edges of the park). Not bad for one tree!

Rosetta McClain Gardens is at Kingston Rd and Gleneverest Rd in Scarborough, one light east of Kingston Rd and Birchmount.

Popped over to my favorite local park(10min from my door how cant I?),and checked "The Wonder Tree" I wasnt disappointed,as I found Yellow-rumped,Black-throated Green and Blue,Blackburnian,Chestnut-sided,Nashville,Blackpoll,Cape May,Bay-breasted,Mourning,Magnolia,American Redstart and Northern Parula. Least Flycatcher,Eastern Phoebe, and a quick in and out by a Great-crested Flycatcher and Red-eyed Vireo all made appearances,as well as a Scarlet Tanager and several Baltimore Orioles. I also saw 2 Ruby-throated Hummingbirds.
The "Wonder Tree" is nearish "the ruins",being the only tree not in full leaf(thats alive),with a bench infront of it.  Rosetta McClain Gardens is at Kingston Rd and Glen Everest Rd,one light east of Birchmount.
