As reported earlier by various people, there are Redpolls at JC Saddington Park in Mississauga. They were feeding again today from the alder cones at the tops of the trees near the line of cedars along the little (frozen) creekbed that leads to the duck pond. They whirl as a flock from tree to tree only perching for a few minutes at a time. It would be easy to miss them as they can fly quite far and back again later. They are very noisy in flight though so that can help find where they've gone. The combination of bad lighting and fast motion meant I could only confirm that the ones I saw were all Common Redpolls only two with light pink chests. The flock is about 20 birds but there is at least one goldfinch among them and there may still be some siskins too.

Redpolls and at least one Pine Siskin (I took its photo) were still there today feeding together in the alders near the cedar line. They often move in a flock of about 20 birds.
