I worked 60 hours each of first three weeks of January and then I was sick for several days after that. However, I was able to get out a few times with the camera.

Snow Bunting, Tommy Thompson Park, January 1st.

Iceland Gull, Bluffer's Park, January 11th.

Red-breasted Nuthatch, Humber Bay Park, January 14th.

Wild Turkey, Lynde Shores Conservation Area, January 17th.

Pine Warbler, Presqu'ile Park, January 25th.

Common Merganser, Tommy Thompson Park, January 31st.

All of the images I took in January are up on my website for anyone who wants to check them out.

Wow Paul, despite being sick and work load you managed to cover a large swath of land between Humber Bay and Presquile. No wonder you have a nice variety on your web site.

Thanks Dinusaur.

The trip to Humber Bay was a lucky break. The power went out at work about 10:30 and at 3:00 they finally let us go. Humber Bay is on the way home so I was able to pop in for 45 minutes before the sun set.

"I worked 60 hours each of first three weeks of January " Too much Paul, great shots by the way. Like the still seeds in the Nuthatch shot.

Thanks Paul.

60 hour work weeks are long and very tiring, but it is my employer's busiest season and is only once a year. That overtime, however, when combined with the overtime of an upcoming 10-day trade show in Edmonton and my vacation will allow me to take most of May off.
