So true Gary. I only saw it once in McMaster University campus, since then no luck. Great timing and capture.

Thanks.  This wren was very cooperative.  He came back to the same spot on both Saturday and Sunday morning.  It helped that the lighting was good and he didn't jump around much.  He was only interested in singing his heart out.

Try the Old Cut at Long Point. It's resident, and the loudest thing you'll hear even as you come in from the parking lot but it also likes to sit on bare branches.

Other known spots to try are Guildwood Park and Rosetta McClain Gardens in Scarborough or LaSalle Marina in Burlington.  Seen well at all three locations but not on every visit, of course.  I personally know that the Carolinas down along the bluffs at RMG have been there since at least August of 2007!  Last Thursday we had one that was singing but not seen well at the new East Point Park Bird Sanctuary in Scarborough.  They are around.
