Hermit thrushes are also abundant at Sam Smith's.  Counted about a dozen yesterday.

The Wet Woods remained slow but steady today.  Juncos and White Throated's ruled the place with some of the Hermit influx still around.  I had a possible Grey Cheeked Thrush - not a 100% ID - more a ruling out of other contenders.  Yellow Rump was the only warbler.  I chased a Winter Wren for a good photo for what seemed like forever.

I'm off to Pelee this weekend and hope the shifting winds mean that my return to the wet woods on Tuesday will be a bonanza.

Just birded the wet woods for a bit. Nothing too exciting. Didn't find the Clay Coloured Sparrow, Swainsons Thrush or Winter Wren but then I did not stay too long or try very hard. Most interesting find was a very vocal Brown Thrasher.

Popped in for a bit earlier today and found a Black and White Warbler, some Palm Warblers, Yellow Warblers and lots of Yellow-Rumped Warbler. Starting to pick up.
