A few return visitors from yesterday  - and i don't mean the birds!

The winds kept things quiet for a bit, but then there were some nice showings.

Wilsons
Female B&W
male B&W
blackburnian
a VERY friendly and curious parula
magnolia x 4
possible Canada warbler

others will fill in the list, i'm sure

Found them in two different locations:
1 - right by the parking lot - trees just to the east of the parking lot
2 - south east side where everyone was looking for the yellow-throated vireo the other day - lots of warblers in there today

zero movement in those trees when I was there. A chestnut sided warbler on my way out. But otherwise nothing

this morning, i did a 30 minute lap.
it was bloody cold there.
zero activity in the usual trees.
some warbler activity in the willows at the harbour bend, but very high up.
the city crews were mowing the lawns, so lots of noise.
found some YRwarblers on the west side.
things could pick up as it warms up and after the city leaves. but there was nothing in the areas they had mowed.

the neatest thing? sparrows and chimney swifts filled the sky
