The Toronto Region Conservation Authority is seeking volunteers to monitor the nesting pair of Piping Plovers at Halan's Point on Toronto Island. They need people to deter beach-goers from entering the nesting area. If anyone is interested, you can add yourself to the volunteer schedule through this website:
