I should start by admitting I'm not a birding enthusiast and know very little compared to most of you.  I do have a pretty cool Purple Martin house for sale though, and I thought this might be a good place to show it to people who may be interested in it.

About 8 years ago I bought a full set of Heritage Farms Purple Martin Houses including the pole system, intending to give it to my father. Before I could, my parents moved and the new location was not suitable. They've since moved again into a retirement community.  I've had it in storage ever since in the original boxes unopened, and I've decided now to try and sell it.

Visit this page for more details on the products direct from the manufacturer - http://www.heritagefarms.biz/pm/features/

Each quad unit is sold separately for $248 USD, and I have 3 quads - 12 individual homes in 3 sets of 4, which can all be combined on one pole. I also have the steel pole system with winch and ground sleeve, which is a $310 USD accessory.

The full set is worth $1050 USD, or about $1300 at today's exchange rate, before taxes. I paid almost that much for it when I bought it, and it's still new and unused. I'm looking for only $600 now.  It's in my basement in Mississauga, and I'd be willing to deliver it within the GTA if I get the value I'm hoping for.

Here are some pictures from the web.  I'm only allowed to post 3 images, but I do have a photo of the actual boxes in my basement if anyone wants to see that. I can be reached through this site, or by email at brad74@rogers.com, or by phone at 416-884-8825.  Please don't hesitate to ask if you have any questions.

Thanks!

Brad

Hi everyone,

It's been a while since I posted this so I thought I would try again.  I know it's a pretty specialized item, but at least those of you seeing this here will know what it is.  If anyone has any questions please don't hesitate to ask.

I've talked to Jonathan Deshman at Downsview Park briefly about these purple martin houses and I think the park might be interested in obtaining these and putting them up.  Try to reach out to him.

Hi everyone,

I found a buyer for this, so it's no longer available.

Thanks!
