During my trip to parts of Germany and parts of France, I managed to get in a bit of birding including seeing the Bee-Eater near Freiburg and the Nutcracker in the Black Forest in Triberg.

European Bee-eaters (Kaiserstuhl near Freiburg)

Eurasian Nutcrackers (Triberg in Black Forest)

Eurasian Jay (also Triberg)

European Robin (forest near Freiburg)

Song Thrush (same place as the Robin)

Great-crested Grebe (Strasbourg, France on river Ill)

Spotted Flycatcher (Lake Gifiz in Offenburg)

Eurasian Linet (near the Bee Eaters - not the clearest shot)

Yellowhammer (same place as the Linnet)

Black Redstart (at the famous Heidelberg castle)
