Taken today at Presqu'ile Park, as you can tell I am not too good at IDing shore birds in the fall.

I have trouble with shorebirds (especially in fall) as well, but I think this is a Semipalmated Sandpiper.  Was there anything else nearby for scale? Did it ever spread its wings?

Likely all Semipalmated Sandpiper. The first one I'm sure of. Generally I find shorebirds easier to ID live (with direct comparison to other shorebirds) than from photos.

Bird #2 looks like something different. Note that the wing tips are clearly longer than the tail vs. the other birds. This could suggest either Baird's or White-rumped, but since there is no brown at the base of the bill, I would lean towards Baird's. However, having never personally seen one I can't be certain!   :D

Baird's sandpiper has a yellowish brown colour on the breast so I would exclude that.

Might be, there seem to be paler one's around than the ones I have seen.

Thanks for all the help, fall is a good time to photograph shorebirds like the spring but much harder with juvenile plumages etc. Tough for me for sure, have a great week.
