2 or perhaps 3 Winter Wrens darting about in the brush piles on this superb Fall afternoon. Yellow-bellied sapsucker, Swainson's thrush, Brown Creeper, Ruby-crowned kinglets and all sort of White-throated sparrows in the park. Two nice mixed flocks of warblers including Parulas, Magnolias, Palms, Black-throated blues and greens, a Common Yellow-throat and lots of Yellow-rumps. Great wind blowing causing crashing waves on the rocks. A few Monarchs flying or feeding on Goldenrod.
Don't forget the Harvest Moon - Super Moon eclipse on Sunday night starting around 8 pm. Next one won't be until 2018.
