When I left the Rattray at about 3 p.m. this afternoon, it was still aswarm with lots of migrants: ruby and golden crowned kinglets, thrushes, black throated blue and green warblers, yellow rumped warblers, common yellowthroats etc. It's probably worth a look at any lakeside park today. The strong wind is blowing onshore and I think it's keeping the birds from attempting a lake crossing.
Also, a garter snake, a mourning cloak butterfly, and many many dragonflies.
