Ok, the angle of this shot is absolutely terrible. It's shortening the beak and face and distorting things. I can't decide what I'm looking at. Is it a female red winged blackbird? Or a purple finch? Or something else very common that I'm not even remembering?

This was in Mississauga along the Credit River in an area of mixed forest and open clearings of goldenrod/asters, this morning (Nov 2).

Opinions are welcome so I can add it correctly to eBird.

Thanks!
The fast-moving small group of Bluebirds was much easier to id. This one must have been my challenge for the day!
