This afternoon on the CBC Radio show - Rewind - they replayed an interesting documentary on birds. Although not Ontario-focused as described on the show's website:
Songs of the Marsh In 1953, CBC engineers spent weeks collecting the sounds of marsh birds of Manitoba. To capture these evocative bird songs, they used the latest cutting edge technology: the parabolic microphone. The result is an award winning documentary called Songs of the Marsh.
