that's crazy to hear.
depending on the year (and the soil saturation), you're all but guaranteed to (briefly) see them at Leslie Spit in Toronto. and i think that one was at nearby Ashbridges Bay (a manicured park) last year.
think this is the third or fourth i've seen.

Great shots.  They're a little bit fidgety and tend to stick to the ground which is why they're easy to miss.  If you're constantly looking up trying to get the tree warblers, you'll very likely going to miss the Waterthrush
